This office is a joke. Took them over a week to call my daughter back to come in and be checked. She has a lot going on with her eyes and have been dealing with this for over a year. Now new problems. When she saw the doctor today he just said sorry but Dr Patel is very busy. I think we will be finding a new ophthalmologist. If you are too busy to call back and check on a patient with in 24 hours obviously you are seeing to many patients.

Dr. Riggins told me that my daughters eye turn “was not an emergency when he had a 30 other patients to see. You will need to come back for a dilated exam” the soonest appt they could give me wasn’t for TWO MORE WEEKS. After going to another ophthalmologist, she is now wearing glasses. She is far sighted and when her eye tries to focus, it causes it to turn in. I have had other family members have bad experiences as well. Waited over 2 1/2 hour for my son’s appointment we we were 15 minutes early it was freezing in there... this was my last time bringing my son there nice staff but that wait is ridiculous

They need better doctors and friendly receptionists. The techs were kind but wait time was horrid. Suggest people find better office/practice.
I have been a patient for over 30 years even when it was under Dr Brown's staff off Owen Dr. The new optical staff where you pick out glasses are very rude on Owen Dr. I had an appointment @8am and I also inquiry about a pair of the Eclipse glasses for me and my daughter. They had the nerve to tell me that I had to go all the way back home to bring my daughter back to get a pair. Plus I heard that they got the glasses late yesterday and had 300 pair. My childrens' physician left the practice. How do I know? Via text message. To the staff, including Lacey (who thought it was "totally cool" to break that kind of news over text)- personal contact still matters. Professionalism matters.
Dr Sheel Patel is a great doctor ....my only regret is I wish I had lasik 3 years ago....
