I have to say No Recommendation at this point. Have been trying for several months to get some issues resolved after our moving out. Apartment manager was absolutely no help. Property manager got things a little closer but refuses to take full responsibility. Trying to get to someone a little higher and got a very abrupt and rude email from Lauren saying "There is noone above Emily". Asked twice now if emily owns CMFG and have yet to receive a response.

Had an appointment to view a house at 4 o’clock and no one showed up. We finally called at about 4:30 and the lady rudely told us we were supposed to call 30 minutes before an appointment to confirm or they won’t send anyone out because they don’t want to waste their time. We were not told to call 30 minutes before when the appointment was set up and it shouldn’t even be left up to the client to call, the business should call.

this company is solely into making a profit. They do not care about the humans that live in their Apartments. the apartments are old and rundown, they are not being fixed, and yet rent continues to increase. Maintenance requests are ignored and the air conditioning does not work.

Don’t move into the apartments(duplex) 411 Marietta st Gastonia the apartment was rat infested they got mad when we went off in the rent office One of the maintenance guys let my mom know that one of the tenants in the building had a nasty apartment and they were suppose to been put out but that didn’t happen . Maintenance came and put some rat traps under the building but that didn’t help overall didn’t like the apartment it was just something needed for a short period and also the building has roaches

BE MIGHTY CAREFUL FOLKS. Rented from Capstone Gastonia for a year. Let’s start off with the good: Capstone made it easy to move into our new home. It was easy to bring the rent into the office each month, which was close to our unit. Called maintenance about an issue with our ceiling leaking in the bathroom. Water would just drip out of the light fixture and fan. The older white maintenance man came while we were out and said he fixed the problem. Awesome! Truly terrible company. They absolutely do not care about the tenants or the properties. Belligerent office workers, do-nothing managers, and the final straw is they cut off the water to our apartment complex 3 days early from a management company transition. I cannot state how relieved I am to not have to call them grovelling for my air conditioner to be fixed, or to have to weigh how serious the problem is against the probability of any action being taken. A pipe burst on the floor above us and flooded our apartment. Our power was out for hours. The water wasn't cleaned up for almost three. The manager wasn't even going to call and check on us. Now they said it will take almost a week for it to dry and are reluctant to replace the dry wall. During this process we are not being put in another unit or hotel. We were offered $100 off next rent which we had to practically fight for. If I see a complex run by capstone we won't live there.
