My 90 year-old mother has been at Cardinal Point for 3 years now. I regularly ask her, if she feels anxious or concerned about her life. She always, emphatically, says No. She feels lucky to be at Cardinal Point, calling out the staff as professional, experienced, caring, and providing excellent care. I have a great sense of security with Cardinal Point. The dining, health care, physical therapy, all have exceeded my expectations.
I had a wonderful experience and tour at Cardinal Point. [name removed], our tour guide, was exceptionally knowledgeable and clearly appreciated by the community. The place is very nice, clean, and the highlight is the views. You get a great view of the habour/water, and can enjoy watching boats go by or admire the different flocks of birds.
The marketing director was outstanding with her knowledge, friendliness, patience, and in depth tour of the building. Dining room was beautiful and the food was as well. Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable as well. They offer seasonal menus as well as daily specials that are like the title.....very special. The upkeep of the building was top notch as well.
I went to visit my family member who lives at Cardinal Point. Upon walking in I was amazed at how clean it was and the decor of this place was AMAZING. I was greeted by the front desk receptionist and she directed me where to go. The staff was so pleasant everyone saying hello while walking through the hallways felt good. This place is really nice. The food was good also dining area was nicely decorated also having a bar was shocking but so nice for the residents to gather and have a drink plus a nice theatre.
I have lived here for 14 years. As in life itself there have been ups and downs. I will have to say that they have mostly been up. In a community of 100 or thereabouts, we all seem to get along pretty well. The staff has always been good, and at the present time they are great! Our executive staff is also great. The actual faculty is beautiful. It is very well maintained and cared for. You can see that the owners are very well apprised of any needs and take care of them very quickly. The owners also offer a 10 year update if... read more
I have been a resident at Cardinal Point for nearly six years. This is a beautiful facility with a great location on the water directly across from Jack London Square. There are walking trails with no traffic, a pool open all year, a dining room with great views and a creative chef, and many other amenities. The staff is friendly and attentive to our needs. And residents are very happy to be living here.
I moved here after loosing my only sister and realizing that I was completely alone. I knew I needed to be in a senior facility for a social life and for security. I had excellent help moving in which I paid for. This residence is small so I knew many residents soon after moving in. I joined a committee that helped to plan activities because I was very familiar with this area, museums, restaurants, etc. It is helpful that I still have my car for short drives for errands and I still have many friends and activities outside th... read more
Such a beautiful place amazing staff very friendly, patient, and helpful. Residents love the community and are always looking forward to their day- to- day living. Being able to keep their independence plays a big role in their life, and this truly supports that. The environment is always clean, warm, and welcoming. There are plenty of engaging activities that help residents stay active and connected.
We've only been here three months and are still exploring all the different options, but so far we've found many things to love about life at Cardinal Point. I especially enjoy the activities and getting to know the other residents -- they are all very interesting. Staff members are always kind and helpful.
