I have been a resident of Cardinal Pt. since March of 2023. I have found that I have become stronger. The meals are 5 star with a large number of choices. Excellent exercise classes are provided nearly every day. Educational classes are given weekly. Excursions to points of interest are given on Wednesdays. Cardinal Pt. is a stimulating way to spend your retirement.
We cannot say enough about Cardinal Point! We found the community when our family was in crisis. [name removed] was amazing -offering support ,compassion and comfort. She made a difficult time manageable just knowing she was a phone call away. Now that our parents are settled, they continue to comment on how the staff and residence are so friendly and caring. We get to visit with them often and make new memories in a welcoming place. So thrilled they found a community like Cardinal Point.
My husband became very ill and the nursing staff answered his call button within 10 minutes helping him to stand and guiding him to the bathroom. The Executive Director arranged transportation to the hospital and back. She found us capable and responsible Care givers who remained with us for 48 hours so I could sleep through the night and they could help my husband . I feel very confident that my husband are in good hands as we age. We both are grateful we found Cardinal Point. And the food is great!
Cardinal point is a lively & supportive senior living caregiving community. Here you are engaged in daily activities, outings, luncheons, fitness workouts and more. These lucky residents eat all their delicious meals in a beautiful dining room over looking the SF Bay. There is a resident’s council run by the residents, and they are involved in everything. The daily schedule is filled with so many different activities that you are never bored. You can hike, you can swim, you can take a variety of chair fitness classes. If tha... read more
I am a retired Gerontologist, professionally familiar with a wide range of senior residences , Although I personally had no intention of ultimately moving into a congregate housing situation, once I was introduced to Cardinal Point, I thought "I can do this." CP is exceptional in it's location, size, character, amenities, residents, and outstanding dining offerings. There is no finer choice in the greater Bay Area.
I am a retired realtor and was invited to see Cardinal Point when it first opened. I told my husband I would like to live there one day. I loved it from the beginning and when I first toured it reminded me of being on a cruise ship. Who knew - about 12 years later we moved in. My husband, who was not well, lived here 8 months before passing away and I was so very happy that I was here and not alone living in a big house! Over the years I have met many wonderful friends and enjoy their company . I love our dining room, with i... read more
I moved here in [date removed] with my wife who had cognitive decline. She died in [date removed] and even though I am healthy and only 77 I have chosen to stay here. This is like a cruise ship, excellent dining room with a varied menu, attentive staff, location on the water, heated swimming pool year-round. We have many activities to suit resident requirements for exercise and entertainment. This is my final move and it will be yours as well
Well run, interesting residents (about 100) OUTSTANDING caring and helpful staff, good communication from managers, interesting activities and outings, nutritious, varied and excellent meals, spacious, comfortable apartments.
My mother had a positive experience at Cardinal Point. Building friendships and receiving compassionate care can greatly enhance the quality of life, especially in the later stages. She found a supportive community here, which was very comforting for her and our family. We will always be grateful for all of the positive experiences that left lasting memories and gratitude for us and the care providers who made a difference in her life.
