As a Registered Nurse finding medically appropriate compassionate dementia care in Jackson NJ for my father-in-law was more difficult than I ever imagined. After a disastrous 1 month stay in another facility in Jackson I was fortunate enough to find Harmony Village. The staff and administration are professional and caring. They really try to resolve any issues and are sympathetic to my feeling. The place is spotless. The meals are large, however they are very similar each day. No fresh fruit except bananas. The activities are good, could add something a little more upbeat sometimes. It is very costly to stay there, but they do have some amenities that other facilities do not, such as a nurse on staff 24-7. Thank you for reaching out and have a good night.

The care & support staff embraced the Teepa Snow program, which was my primary goal in the selection process. Then the facility segregated the residents on different floors based on their cognitive and behavioral abilities. Next, the facility was meticulously clean, bright and functional. All the staff & administrators are trained, accessible and friendly to the residents & families. There are no visiting hours, it's "our home"!
The staff at CareOne saved my dads life. They really care and are invested in his wellness. It's worth the money to know he is safe and thriving. Room sizes are perfect, they have a lot of events and activities to keep the residents engaged.
My mother in-law has been in this facility for a few months. She has made an exceptional recovery after hip surgery. Mostly, due in part, to [name removed], the physical therapist! He’s remarkable with his care and gentleness towards my MIL. His patience and perseverance has resulted in her walking and caring about herself! The facility is also very nice. Clean and modern. Overall, individually everyone has been fantastic. I do think communication among the staff has room for improvement. I would recommend Careone at Somerset Valley. Overall we have been very happy.
