I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident Don’t trust this place for your family member! The patients sit in their soiled bottoms for so long that they get terrible rashes. 99 percent of the staff are rude and/or just don’t care. They never answer their phone so you can check on your loved one and they plain out lie!! My family member is now in the hospital for the second time directly because the lack of care and attention they failed to give!!!

I am a friend or relative of resident the nurses and c.n.a.'s are nice and attentive, they are the highlight of the facility. Lots of activities. it's a shame the administrators are poor communicators and lack real caring. look elsewhere first but know that the really important workers are caring. i am leaving with a sour taste due to the lack of communication...

I am a friend or relative of a resident I am a very frequent visitor at Essex Park Rehab and although some areas are not too bad their dementia unit leaves a lot to be desired. There is always an undercurrent of hostile relationships among the employees that makes for a tense and unhappy staff. Also there are several staff members who are obviously only there for the paycheck and don't seem to realize that they are caring for human beings.
