I believe we had eight packers and ten people loading. What was scheduled for three days was completed in a day and a half! The cost was not cheap but fair. Very efficient and professional service. They completed a long distance, intrastate move for me in 7 hours. The only thing I was a little peeved about was how the foreman didn’t hesitate to call out existing deficiencies to my goods or the property in advance of packing, loading or unloading. Yet he wanted me to turn a blind cheek to a new scratch to my Pottery Barn shelving unit. So much for that extra insurance coverage I purchased.
Very nice and efficient team. Arrived on time and finish as estimated ! Very professional. Highly recommended…

We just completed a complicated double-move from the home we are selling in Annandale. the first move was to Slidell, Louisiana and the second was to an apartment in Vienna, so we'd have a place to live while preparing the Annandale home. Flew to Louisiana to meet movers at new home, then flew back to move the second time to Vienna. Everything went perfectly and our estimates were very close. Thanks Jim, Rob, and all the people at CARMACK for making our final move seamless!

Amazing company! From the person doing the estimating to the movers it was just a wonderful experience.
The entire team of Carmack was amazing from start to finish. Jim, our sales contact, was very responsive (answered every email, text, call quickly) and his estimate was near perfect. Our moving crew, led by Ernesto, was AMAZING. They handled all of our belongings, including quite a few antiques and a baby grand piano, with extreme care when loading, unloading, and setting up in the new house.
