My visits to Dr. Timpton's have always been pleasant. I am greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. My treatments are comfortable and I feel very relaxed. I would recommend his office to anyone.
Very bad communication Dr. Timpton was fine. However the staff, specifically one member, was horrible. We waited more than 2 hours for a cleaning and she insisted that it was normal because I have two children. She seemed to neglect the fact that I told her that we have never had wait this long for any doctor appointment of any kind. I have had two children for over 12 years and of course I have taken them to doctors through out this time. Any other doctor has been able to take care of both my children within one hour. Office Manager! I was referred to Dr. Timpton through my godmother. She said nothing but excellent things about Dr.Timpton. I made an appointment & it went well. The next visit I had to have a few things done (surgery) Dr. Timpton stated himself “Ill through in the $60 laughing gas in for free). After several hours my procedure was complete. Dr, Timpton GREAT! Staff horrible!! OK, so I finally made up my mind to take the plunge, and get upper dentures (I am 66 years old)...trusting in Dr. Timpton's abilities, I went to his office for the initial review.....WELL...the hygienist went out of her way to push the hard sell on "fixing" things and became haughty about my request.....STRIKE ONE.....when I spoke with Dr. Timpton he did not indicate a problem with doing the procedure....hmmmm. Unprofessional services Worst place ever.... I went there for a consultation. I sat on the chair for 2 hours... they took x-ray of my teeth and charged me $260 without cleaning or do anything to it... worst part is that they said they'll follow up with me soon. Guess what??? They NEVER did. I called them again and they said they will give me a call back in a day. Yet again.. never return my call. I've never write a bad review for any business but I have to for this one. UNPROFESSIONAL.
It's time for a change & looking for a new dentist I was there for 2 hours and and they didn't even do what I originally made the appointment for, I made the appointment for bonding work. The lady on the phone even asked, "you're going to wait that long with a chipped front tooth?" She knew why I made the appointment. I waited a month for this and 2 hours later (how long I was there) I found out that they don't do that type of dental work until after 2pm in the afternoon during the weekdays. Guess what? I had an appt. to get a tooth seen that was bothering me. I got there on time, about 10 minutes early. i was called to the back to get an x-ray of the tooth and I was also supposed to get an exam. and cleaning. I sat and waited for 45 minutes , finally I got up to leave because I had another appt. to make. I was stopped by a staff member and they told me that that someone would be in to see me and take the x-ray right then, she was very apologetic about it. Took 2 hours for a cleaning, never saw the dentist.
my appointment was at 11:30 I sat in the chair till 12:55, had a quick xray, 2 min. with the dentist to be informed I needed a root canal, was out at 1:20, a little absurd, plus the cost, not right, please forward me how I can get copys of my xrays, as I will be going to someone else.
