The last time I saw Dr Banik was the end of 2019. The staff was as unimpressive, as he was. I will gladly admit that I was late a few times. Nonetheless, it does not constitute flaw full dental work, the first one he did is still discolored on the inside, another filling which felt like I had something stuck in my bottom teeth and he tried sanding (?) part of it away, came out. I am very disappointed with my experience with Dr. Ron Banik. He is the owner and dentist at Carolina Family Dentistry in North Charleston. I went to him to get some minor cavities filled and a wisdom tooth extracted in preparation for getting braces. After his thorough $175 diagnostic examination, he told me I also needed a root planing procedure for all four quadrants of my mouth. He quoted it as a necessity and scheduled it with no mention of there being any possible changes to their plan while I am having the procedure d... read more
