Installed light fixtures, replaced motion sensitive lights and installed timer switches We had a few electrical jobs we wanted done, among them a chandelier in the foyer that we wanted replaced. the ceiling in that area is 18 feet high, so there was some back and forth with the company as to how it should be done. They said they needed to have two people and a special ladder for this. On the day of the job only one guy showed up and he did not have the ladder. The technician took down the old ceiling fan and installed a new one in the master bedroom. He called 15 minutes in advance and arrived on time. He was very friendly and professional. He was finished in a timely manner and took the time to look at some other electrical work I need to have done.
Installed 4 motion security lights A very friendly, knowledgeable guy came on time and installed the lights with no problem. Also advised me on some work I want done in the future. The price was almost half what my other estimate was.
Installed a new ceiling fan to the master bedroom.? Installed 2 new exterior outlets on brick home. CET was very helpful from the consultation to installation.? Our electrician, Dale, was on time, clean, and took great care to answer all our questions.? Dale was quick to his work which reduced the original estimated labor costs.? I would most certainly use CET again.
Installed replacement light fixtures and repaired non-functioning outlets/switches Great overall experience. CET responded quickly to our request and got us scheduled a few days later. The electrician that performed the job was on time, professional and did an excellent job.
Installed 2 new bath sconces and evaluated a bath fan for replacement. He was great, quick, efficient and offered to clean up what little mess there was.

Alan removed the old and provided and nstalled 9 new smoke detectors. He also replaced a door bell. . We contacted CET with some questions. Gary got back to us quickly with the information needed. Set up the appointment time and they called us to confirm the arrival time of the service person. All the work was done quickly and without problems. Alan was great about explaining the new features of the smoke detectors, and the importance of having your detectors changed out after 10 years. Even if you change the batteries after... read more

Thanks for the great review. You bring up an important safety issue. Smoke Detectors don't last forever. They need to be changed on a periodic basis. NFPA recommends replacing any Detector over 10 years old. They may still be on, but they are not detecting smoke effectively
Checked my electrical panel because I had flickering lights in the kitchen and answered all my questions!! Rob was my serviceman and he was great! He checked everything and I was relieved to know that my electrical system was fine. I would recommend CET and Rob as top rate. I've lived in this area (No.Bethesda) for over 25 years and I've finally found an electrician I will continue to use.
