If you're windows are old, look into having them replaced. It has transformed our home. The windows look great, they block noise and heat and are extremely well built. I should have replaced mine several years ago. I'm looking forward to some energy savings this winter.
I thought they were prompt, very courteous, and even worked on my other windows.
We had planned to seek 3 bids, but the initial Champion presentation was so thorough, understandable and impressive that we immediately chose Champion. Price was reasonable (I believe considerably less than Restoration by Andersen, based on comments I received from a friend), and installation was accomplished right on schedule. The new windows have performed exactly as promised with respect to reducing heat transfer from the sun.
Champion of Boise was great to deal with. I replaced all of my aluminum framed windows and the difference in comfort was noticeable from the first day. All of the champion people were great to deal with, from the salesman to the installers and all service people. I would strongly recommend champion window. Definitely worth the extra money.
