I was told by Nick that the renovations required to install my new windows would be paint ready when completed. The repair areas were mudded in with about a 3/4" rise between the new and existing drywall on one window and a noticeable rise at the rest of the windows. This is a totally unprofessional job. The foreman, when he came to collect the money told me "well we are not drywall people and all we do is get the hole filled - I keep telling the sales people we cannot make it paint ready".The siding was initially installed ... read more
They have been good to work with, the quality of the windows is good, and the crew was good. There isn't a thing I can say bad about Champion other than they should never tell the customer they will be there at a certain time when they know they are leaving out of Chattanooga at 7:30 and have to go Knoxville, that is just dumb. They didn't get to my house until 2:00. I had to move my schedule around. it just created a lot of issues over the scheduling thing.
We were shown a complete window with the understanding that were getting a complete replacement including window sills and was not told that the replacement was only the glass and not the complete window. With the outside being wrapped in vinyl.
With the trouble that we seem to be having with the customer service end, we are not happy.
