Very good food and priced reasonably. Were very busy (for a Tuesday) and perhaps a bit understaffed.
Good news and bad news at this Avon favorite. The good news is there is finally a menu change after years of stagnancy. Some additional lighter fare in the evening and some more interesting entrées as well. The blackened salmon on Caesar salad was sheer perfection. Sadly, the chicken Parmesan sandwich over cooked and tough. The flavor was excellent so if they can get the timing down there is potential but right now it was a complete waste. Service is always attentive and reservations always honored.
We went to Charbonos for a late dinner on a Friday night. The manager, Mike walked right over to us and greeted us at the door which made us feel very welcome. The bar area is really big at Charbonos so we decided to sit in the bar at a high top table. It was really cozy and the waiter was extremely friendly and gave us great service. The food came out nice and hot and I have to say the bread and oil is the best anywhere. We are going to go back on a Wednesday night when the have half price Martinis.
