delicious specials Charbonos is consistent. The specials are always outstanding. Yes, it is pricey but to KNOW it will be excellent makes the experience valuable. Chicken marsala was delicious. Pizza always wonderful (although strangely not piping hot this time). Shrimp cocktail wonderful.
Great restaurant Took my wife here for her b-day. Always have great customer service and great food. They even gave my wife a free dessert for her birthday! Love the fact that they offer less expensive dishes as well as the stuff you want for special occasions... a filet or sea food. Probably the nicest restaurant in Avon!
Every night is a special occasion They did it again...turned an ordinary Friday night let's-grab-dinner into a special meal. Service was outstanding with waitress, Kim, open to our pacing needs (slower than they CAN serve). We enjoy a relaxed pace. Shrimp cocktail is always a great start with warm bread and dipping oil. We always enjoy their specials--this time a shrimp/scallop combo with fried potato and delicious sauce. So nice to go out for dinner and feel an ordinary dinner is a special occasion!

Saturday busy night obviously. Saturday busy night obviously. Hostess seemed pre occupied in her brain although we had reservations. Ended up in the bar which was fine but the absolute farthest spot from the kitchen, so the server was doing wind sprints with food, bread and wine. She worked hard and was very busy. Special/Fish was good, rice a bit crunchy. IN all a good night. REgulars
Charbonos is close to home, Charbonos is close to home, a family and friend favorite, and always a good dinner! Saturday nights are busy, but with OpenTable reservations, it makes it easy. Food was great, service was excellent, another enjoyable, never disappointed, visit to a Cunningham family restaurant!
Engergetic?? I say, "Too Much Noise Food and service was good. Large private party in at the same time. High ceilings with metal ceilings cause excessive noise. Made conversation nearly impossible. This was the only negative in an otherwise fine experience.
6 oz filet was ordered medium 6 oz filet was ordered medium well and came out medium rare-medium. We sent it back for further cooking, but because of the butter they put on top of steaks before initially serving, it came back with a strong burnt taste to it. Potatoes Gratin were good, but very strong on the parmesian
Great meal We gathered to celebrate a birthday. We were seated at a round table which we like since it makes talking easier with a larger group. Meal was excellent and the ambiance was wonderful. Loved it!
