Enjoyed the varied menu selections that included cool twists on traditional entrees. Like who thinks to bread chicken in sunflower and hazelnuts??? Well they did, and it tasted great! Bread arrives fresh out of the oven with some of the tastiest dipping oil around.
Have previously dined with larger groups at Charbono's and have always had good food and good service, but on Friday 3/20, we were entertaining 3 other couples (and a baby!) --and we were SO pleased! I love this local chain and was happy to recommend the applewood chicken salad and other dishes that reflect Indiana. We were seated near the kitchen, but ambience was still good and our server was EXCEPTIONAL, giving just the right amount of attention without hovering. We are grateful to her.
We needed a family -friendly place to meet in Avon that would appeal to all kinds of diets. We had great service, everyone seemed to really enjoy their meal, and we left happy. Thank you!
We had 8 entrees and two were the chicken parmesan, which could have been chicken or pork or something else, as it had very little flavor. Also the marinara sauce was dry. I believe the dish was over cooked. Also, one entree was a cheese pizza, which was barely warm enough to eat when served. The other entrees were fine, according to the ones eating them.
