I was very disappointed after my 25 minute drive. I was refused service because of facial piercing! I have had MRI/CT’s in the past without complications due to this piercing of 1996. Dr. Uppal excuse was that she had an unique equipment different than other radiology services 🤣 too funny!!!! Really Dr. Uppal tell it to someone that did not take the classes. That’s ok, I know where I can go!!!! Advance Radiology!!!!!

Ms Jones let me apologize for your inconvenience you always have a choice of choosing your imaging provider. My staff and i have your safety as our highest concern . Charter Radiology has the strongest MRI 3 Tesla and you were having a MRI of the Cervical spine any ferromagnetic compound in layman's terminology jewelry containing metal can cause severe burns . You had an earring around your eye which can be displaced by this very strong magnet with a gravitational force stronger than the gravitational force of the earth . ... read more
RecommendedThank you Dr Uppal! You saved my life. I had extensive PE (Pulmonary Embolus) in both my lungs last week. I went to Charter Radiology for CT without clear symptom. My cardiovascular did not prescribe an emergency CT order. Dr Uppal asked me to wait for result after CT and immediately diagnosed my PE. She immediately contacted my physician and hospital ER. I got proper treatment.

poor management and very lazy staff. Brittany was unyielding ..it was Christmas Eve...drove from DC, handicapped ....was 8 minutes late. . Would not recommend...

Scheduled a procedure that needed to be pre-approved by insurance. They didn't submit it for approval in a timely manner and so we opted to self pay. Warning! Self-pay rates are much higher than what they get from the insurance companies. And if you try to file a claim, they'll charge you even more! I would not recommend working with someone with these policies.
