I️ wanted to thank the Bridgewater Chipotle for their careful, cautious and courteous service yesterday so that my son with a dairy allergy could safely eat something in your restaurant. We stopped in for a late lunch and although I had food packed for him it wasn’t busy so I figured it was a great opportunity to discuss my concerns. I wanted to start off easy so I only asked for a side of rice. When one of the employees (not sure if he’s a manager or just really nice, caring guy) overheard me explaining my need for fresh rice due to an allergy, he came right over and asked me about the allergy and offered to help. He asked if I wanted white or brown rice and if I wanted it plain or flavored. I said flavored and he told me they would need to mix some up but if I was willing to wait he’d oversee it for me. I gladly agreed since I️ had to order the rest of my food anyway. I did so all while watching what they were doing with that rice and as I was paying for everything he walked over and personally handed me the cup of rice with a lid and said to please not hesitate to ask for such requests again. My son was so excited and loved the rice, said it was the best ever!
