I would have liked more communication on exactly what the number breakdown was of how much the refinance would save us over a certain number of years. There were also some issues with uploading documents to my client portal, so I printed out hard copies and dropped them off at the office, and then was asked for those same documents later, after I had already brought them over and was told they would be uploaded.

Improving communication… Lack of clarity regarding when cash to close amount is finalized and not providing options for how to handle uncertainty until it was escalated…. Finding out late in the process that the distributions can’t come from 2 accounts.

The only feedback I would offer support is at the beginning of the loan process, I communicated that I live in Lake Orion, but no one told me that when it would come to closing, we would have to be in person (in Grand Rapids). With three small children at home, we needed this information up front. So, it was to our surprise that we had to meet in person or pay the extra $ for a traveling notary. Then, our notary didn't show on the scheduled time after we took time off of work. Frustrating ending

Better staff congruence to reduce redundant communication, asking permission before moving closing up as that put us in quite a tight spot and we would have kept the closing date out if given the choice. Asking for the correct versions of documents from get go.
