Poor communication. He would leave a voicemail at say 1:35, we’d call back at 1:36, 1:37, 1:38, etc. and the rest of the day and we would never get through. Multiple steps to get the information we needed from him. If you need things, tell us everything you need. Not this. Then that. Then the other.

Earn trust and be a little more flexible and understanding when the buyer is weighing their options. To keep their business you need to offer solutions and scenarios in case they feel like they need to adjust their finances/change their mind. Otherwise, they will start shopping for other lenders halfway through the loan process and find a better deal.

In the beginning things were fine. When he learned that I was using a VA home loan, he was very misinformed about how they work and was very adamant that I could not use it the way I wanted to. After a few weeks of searching for other lenders with a good incentive, I was finally contacted back and was told that I could now use it, which was the statement I had made to him before because as the veteran, I knew how I could and could not use my VA Home Loan prior to me walking into the office.

We felt like through the whole process we just didn’t receive much customer service from KBHS Home Loans, and given misinformation. Every document we had to sign were inaccurate numbers and was told we would get our final numbers a week before closing, but we never even saw them until we sat down with the title company on our closing day. Nice people, but us being first home buyers it wasn’t a great experience for us to be honest. We just feel that it could have been a much better experience.

I was very dissatisfied with the experience of working through KB Finance. We have purchased several houses over 50 years and never have we had to constantly supply or repeatedly supply the same documents or explain items. I had asked agents more than once to not use abbreviation for the documents they needed. I had to guess what the meaning and what they were. The overall experience made me feel like I was a drug cartel trying to launder money. Unpleasant.

When transferring from initial to final status on a loan. Having them transfer all the documents that you send from the initial person to the final person to avoid frustration.

Communication was not the best. Chris was hard to reach. When my account was turned over to Jen things were better

Loan officer Chris is great but KBHS home loan processor & Underwriter is so inconsistent & very long process. When you apply for home loan & submitted all the required documents & they keep on asking for more documents almost every week, once you provided the documents & they needed more until last minute & they want you to close in 2 days which you don’t have enough advance notice especially you have to fly to get to there location. Very difficult home loan process with KBHS ever experienced
