My refinancing took about 5 months to complete. I wasn't kept in the loop through much of the process on why it was taking so long. I know now that it had to do with the rates and an expected drop. Knowing that all along the way would have prevented a lot of frustration. There were also multiple erros in the the numbers (my salary, co signer salary, etc) that slowed the process and lowered my conficence that the rest of the documentation was correct.
