Full-fledged steakhouse. They age and cook their steaks appropriately. The staff is very knowledgeable in the food, and the way it's prepared, as well as the wines. It's a little pricey but it's oh-so-worth-it!
We have been here before and we were not as impressed as this last visit. Great hostess and waiter this time. Great piano in basement which was new to us. Food excellent.
Piano bar, perfect steaks, oysters Rockefeller. Nothing new and inventive just a great, honest "old standards" steakhouse. Wood paneling, soft lighting, great service, perfect martinis. No euro tech or ultra modern harsh lighting here. I visit Spokane a few times a year and this is the first time that I have eaten at Churchill's, but it won't be my last. Churchill's has just become my "regular spot" when I'm in town. Cheers!
It was a wonderful change from the noisy lunch places usually available for lunch. The food selection was balanced with a great selection of choices and the price point was very reasonable for the portion size. It gave part of our group to see and experience Churchhill's without the expensive chance of a dinner menu. It would also be a nice and impressive place to take a client for a nice business lunch.
I am a die hard Churchill's fan. I've been several times and loved it. This time it was not up to it's previous high standards. The menu change from the awesome mashed potatoes to the mediocre potato cake was not a good change. The steaks were tender but overpowered by the taste with too much black pepper. Perhaps they changed the chef or he had a bad day. We all had different cuts of meat and all were too peppery. Sad to say I can no longer recommend them.
We took our son to Churchill's for his combination college graduation and military send off as was is headed into the United States Army the following Monday. The meal was fantastic and the atmosphere was wonderful, as always, but having key members of the staff come by and congratulate our son on his graduation and thanking him for his pending service was much appreciated. Overall, Churchill's is the finest restaurant in Spokane.
Notable wine list and food was spectacular. Arrived 15 minutes early but were seated right away. Waiter gave excellent service. Next course arrived just as we were finishing our last. Perfect. Will definitely go again when we are in town.
I took my wife for dinner on her birthday and the place was outstanding. The staff made sure everything was perfect and the dining experience was the best.
excellent food and service for any occasion moderate menu price was great.
