Went to Churchill's for the first time for Restaurant Week Spokane. The place was packed, we were directed to the lounge and bar downstairs until our table was ready. The waiter was friendly and the food was excellent and cheaper because of the city-wide deal. Couldn't have gone other than this week though since its a bit above my pay-grade, but well worth what I paid.
Churchill's is one of the best local restaurants I've been to. It is for me a "dining" experience, all I expected and more.
I am so glad that I finally made it to Churchills! Once you have a steak that is prepared to its fullest everything else tastes dull. The staff was extremely friendly!
the timing between ordering & courses was very slow. took a really long time to get our table bussed when we were finished with each course
We enjoyed our evening. We loved the fact that Churchill's joyed "Spokane Restaurant Week". It gave us a chance to try it. Now we know we like it.
Our first visit to Churchills due to Spokane Restaurant week. Outstanding food, especially the melt in your mouth steak! Service was good, however, water refills needed to be asked for several times. Also, the restaurant seating and tables could be a little better. We were sandwiched in fairly tight between other couples. In order to get to the rear bench seat I had to squish between the tables. Based on things we heard, we had much higher expectations for Churchills. The food didn't live up to the hype.
The food is delicious, but pricey. The restaurant is beautiful - very elegant without being over-the-top. The wait staff are very knowledgeable and attentive. We love to go here for special occasions.
This was our first time at Churchill's and we went on Valentine's Day, a.k.a. A Foodie's worst day to dine! Normally, on V-Day service is terrible and your meal is either limited to a tiny fixed menu or the quality of the food suffers. Not the case at Churchill's! We had impeccable service.
