Bathroom needed repair -wallpaper peeling, sink wood chipped. Staff was great

Not happy with additional hotel fees. The hotel is very old and so the room and hotel was a bit run down. I booked through hotels.com and had to pay $123.00 for one night stay and then I was charged an additional $44.00 from the hotel with a total of over $170.00a night for a rundown hotel. I was not very happy about this additional fee. I already felt like I was paying too much for one night. In additional I didn't receive a free gift.
