This is the worst credit union I have ever dealt with. I purchased a vehicle that was financed through Citadel and the frustration began with the first statement. They could never get the billing correct. Every month for 4 years I had to go into the branch because I never received the statements. Working with different associates who could never seem to get the billing correct, I finally spoke with a manauger who claimed he could see why I wasn't receiving my statements. Horrible banking experience, do not recommend. They stopped accepting the direct deposits of my paychecks but then proceeded to pay numerous bill payer payments, seriously overdrafting my account and charging overdraft fees every time. And this was before covid-19.

Their customer service is unprofessional and rude! I have a car loan with them. Thirty days behind due to a reduction in work hours and called to request time to pay. Stated that I was waiting on a hardship withdrawal from my job which I would use to pay them. The rep was a complete bully! "You haven't paid since....ma'am!", "how much are you paying today?!","I need a date(insert my name here)!" "What kind of program does (insert my employer name here) have that will make you pay?!". I called customer service to get my account information, they asked personal information which I was able to answer. I was told they were not allowed to give it over the phone. Why ask me all the questions if you already know you can't help me.

I had a car loan through citadel in exton, pa. It was the worst banking experience I have ever had. With any phone inquiries, much confusion. I moved to North Carolina and it took them almost 4 months to change my billing address. With so many good banking/ credit unions in the area-- citadel is one I would surely avoid.
