A great day out guys!! Nothing like a beautiful afternoon out on a gorgeous Schooner!! It's a small group outing- not like the huge boats! You get to hear a little history, and really enjoy the harbor!! The Captain and crew were delightful and took the time to chat with all the passengers- and their love of sailing was apparent- they weren't just doing a job. This is a great experience if you want to see the city from the harbor.
Decided to book a sailing with the Adirondack III as a way to celebrate the beautiful weather we were having. My friend and I had a fantastic time. The crew was friendly and knowledgable. The ship was beautiful and comfortable and the views phenomenal. They had a selection of beer and wine for purchase on the sail, or sodas and water. We were on the second sailing of the year, still a bit early in the season so it was a little cold- but the crew had warm blankets for us and it ended up being perfect. It was a really relaxing... read more
We were visiting Boston for the first time with tickets already purchased to this harbor cruise. Though we nearly missed our sail time after getting lost downtown, we were very thankful that we did not. This experience was easily worth the money. Our captain and crew were very accommodating, very knowledgeable, and made the ride a great combination of peaceful, interesting, and fun. Drinks on board, great views of the city and its surroundings and history, and a very respectful bunch of people. We couldn't have asked for mor... read more
This review is for the Adirondack III Such a fun time.. Super sail, nice crew. We had a super time!
OVERVIEW: I live in Boston, and I love being a tourist I my own city. I had a Friday afternoon off and it was a gorgeous summer day so I decided I should spend it on a sailboat! I had a great time sailing on the 3pm tour on the Adirondack III 80' schooler. COST: I found a discount code online, so what would have been a $45 ticket cost me $38. DURATION AND COURSE: The sail was 2 hours long, and went out towards the Boston Harbor Islands and back. BEVERAGES AND BATHROOM: They serve water and sodas for free, and beer and wine f... read more
The cruise is really fun! We took the harbor island cruise and we were not disappointed. The weather was great and it didn't even feel like 2 hours had passed. Very enjoyable ride!
What's the best place to go shopping on the ocean? Answer: a Sailboat!! My friends got me this sailing trip as my birthday surprise. In fact, they gave me this riddle above to guess what it was. After a few hints... I finally got it! Blame it on the Martinis... I can't express how much I love my experience sailing with Adirondack III!! The crew was courteous, knowledgeable and very responsible. I didn't know what to expect as I never sailed before. The boat was a lot bigger than I thought. The Adirondack III can hold approxim... read more
We took a Day Sail yesterday because we had a few hours between a conference ending and our flight back home. Our crew was friendly and accommodating with questions from the onset. It was clear that they enjoy what they do and are about providing the best customer service possible. A perfect sunny and breezy afternoon rounded out a perfect sail.
What a lovely evening aboard this beautiful schooner! Captain Peter and the crew, Brennan and Abby, were friendly, funny, welcoming, and clearly experienced. The views of Boston just before sunset are stunning and classic, even on a slightly cloudy day. I strongly recommend this activity to anyone who loves the ocean, is a romantic at heart, or just wants a calming yet exciting way to spend time with loved ones. Well worth the price. Also, be sure to bring cash to tip the crew at the end of the day if they prove to be just a... read more
