This is a new (one year) facility. Besides the state of the art facility the caliber of the medical staff is beyond any other hospital I have seen. They don't know who we are and vice. However they are always caring even in the face of erratic behavior. Certain staff went above and beyond for me and I will never forget you.

They are super caring and compassionate! The nurses are definitely looking out for their patience and I am finding that they are willing to work with the patients of that need extra emotional care... Jason was one that stood our to me from the sonola side. Thank you for taking care of my family that way!

I went in and was immediately greeted with a beautiful smile and was given all the info needed for my son. The staff treats you with respect and dignity while giving you five star service. Compassion and customer service is a must in health care. I understand it's a stressful job and sometimes you get more complaints then acknowledgment. Today I thank you for treating us wonderful and making our experience less stressful by simply caring. January 16th, 2026 a patient was admitted to this facility under the care of Dr. Connolly. After speaking with the psychiatrist, the facility and the patient I was told that the visiting hours were between 6:00PM - 7:00PM. After arriving I was told that an identification number was required to speak with the patient under Dr. Connollys' care. Coachella Valley Behavioral Health should be shut down. They are rude, incompetent, and liars! From the front desk to the psychiatrist. They need to be retrained if they were at all. The patient came out worse than when they went in. 5150'd then fake as 5250. The second psych conveniently released the patient on the second day of the 5250 because they realized that the first psych made a huge mistake. The patients rights were violated and they will pay the price. Malpractice and coercion!
