The first time we went, we waited over an hour. My 2 year old was livid by the time we were seen. We figured it was just a busy day. Our second appointment was their first appointment of the day (when they opened) and we were in the waiting room with another family. This is 100% double booking AND IT IS NOT OK!!! We try very hard to stay on schedule and typically leave extra openings for same day appointments. Our track record of staying on time is excellent, but we are not perfect. There are factors that play a role in our ability to stay on time. Sometimes hospital rounds run long making the doctor late for the first appointment in the morning. While Dr. Coppa came highly recommended, her staff is disrespectful and completely turned me off from giving Dr. Coppa a try. The doctor may be great, but that does no good if her staff keeps answering the phone and treating potential clients the way I was treated. Thumbs down. I will take my child somewhere we can both be treated with respect.

Today I took my sweet, sensitive, bright child in to see Dr. Coppa. During the course of a routine physical she called him "chubby", shamed him for having accidents at night, told him not to listen to me when I said it was "okay" that he had accidents sometimes, and when his hearing test was normal she said "so that is no excuse not to listen" (which was so weird because he was being very patient even though she had made us wait for over an hour).
