We love Coastal Kids Thousand Oaks! Having a neurodivergent and medically complex child can often overwhelm the medical community, which is incredibly disheartening. It has become increasingly difficult to find providers who will truly take the time to listen and problem-solve rather than categorize patients based on diagnosis. Dr. Tahan is so wonderful! When I was pregnant, I did my research and was already set up with another doctor for my baby. This doctor was a 2 minute drive. But after meeting Dr. Tahan in the hospital, my husband and I fell in love with her. Despite being a 25 minute drive to her office, we switched immediately so she could care for our baby. We feel so lucky to have Dr. Carla Tahan as our pediatrician at Coastal Kids Pediatrics. She's warm, caring, and our child feels comfortable with her. Thad a wonderful experience at this pediatric office. The staff is incredibly thorough and attentive, making sure every question is answered, and they really take the time to listen. The office itself is clean and welcoming, and you can tell they genuinely care about the kids' well-being.

This really is the gold standard for pediatric practices in the area. Our girls have gone here for almost 6 years, and we have seen all the doctors at one point or another. They are all top notch with years of knowledge and experience and great bedside manner. I have never felt rushed when there, and never had trouble getting an appointment for an urgent manner, even if it was 30 minutes before they closed (like earlier this week). There staff is really good too!!! I highly recommend this practice.
Dr. Chambers is truly a wonderful doctor. He has been taking care of my 2 Kids since they we born.. I have a 13 yr old and a 6 year old. He is warm and sweet as can be. An awesome bedside manner and doesn't miss a beat! I can't say enough nice things about this office and Dr. Chambers. It was our first teen physical and meeting Dr. Chambers for the first time. He was amazing! Overall I have never really found a Dr. for my children that I have really really liked since they were born. I mean, they have all been nice but no one stood out the way Dr. Chambers did.
