He is a good doctor and he makes me happy! I have been going to him for ~2 years and have only had positive experiences.
I was seriously sick when I came to see dr. Fontenot on my last visit. He was right on top up getting everything checked out and sent me down for x-rays blood work your analysis. I'm a kidney patient and he was on top of fixing me before I could get back upstairs to him he had the medication waiting for my shot finished checking me out thoroughly talkin to myself and my husband explaining my situation and what the plan of care he would be providing. Dr.Fontenot is very caring and attentive. He always takes my appointment seriously and I never had to wait past my appointment time to see him unlike other doctors that I've seen. I trust him thoroughly.
He clearly researched my health history prior to my first visit. He was knowledgeable and made sure I was informed. Felt extremely comfortable with him and he will be my PCP moving forward.
Dr. Fontenot is Well-knowledgeable and patient friendly. I asked him many questions and he answered each and every question patiently. Interestingly, he explained with the patient's perspective. Honestly, I would recommend him to anyone.
He listens to me and my wife no matter what our questions are. He does not rush us through like many Doctors do these days. I feel more at ease with him than just about any other Doctor I have ever seen. Very empathetic. I truly like being explained thoroughly and completely.
Dr. Fontenot has a friendly demeanor but still gets his point across. He has also personally called to check on me when there had been a concern. This is not typical in my experience.
