Codnor Park is set in beautiful surroundings with a large grassed areas and trees to the front, along with smaller areas to the back. There are some fully-accessible paved areas with table and chairs perfect for when the sun is shining. Our purpose built residential home was built in 1997 has 40 fully furnished en-suite rooms which residents are encouraged to personalise with their own belongings. There are communal areas where residents can make new friends or join in with the many daily activities.

I have worked for Ashmere Derbyshire since 2021. My first day I was made to feel welcome and part of the Ashmere family. The staff team all do there best for the residents, treating them as our own family. There are good days and bad days some harder then others, we don’t give up. At Ashmere Derbyshire we support,encourage,grow,and learn as a family.
Ashmere has been my life for many many year's we try to excel in everything we do making a difference to our residents is our priority supporting each other as a staff team goes without saying Ashmere is the place to come and grow into who you want to become.
I joined Ashmere Derbyshire just over 3 years ago having no experience of working in care and I can honestly say it's the best move I have ever made! I have had nothing but support from Ashmere, not only from the home I work in but also from other homes and head office. If you want to make a difference to people's lives with the continued support of your employer and with the option of further training then I would definitely apply to work for Ashmere.
ashmere is the most friendly place I have ever known my mum was always looked after well when she was there now I work there and can't imagine working anywhere else it is a lovely place
I could go on forever about my experience while working for ashmere, all I can say is I have received support from head office team numerous time when needed :) I've worked with heanor Park since day 1 and to see its progress especially through covid has been amazing because as a ashmere family we have got through the good and bad times together ❤️....I would highly recommend anybody to consider there loved ones to be cared by ashmere because they do get treated for like our own family members with dignity respect and person... read more
been working for ashmere for 4 months now. the induction was very thorough and the best I've had. I've had so much support since starting. the home I work at is fantastic , it's like working as part of a family and I'm so much happier in my self since starting here .
It’s been less than 5 months since I started working for Ashmere Derbyshire and already I cant recommend this workplace enough! The induction was so informative and allowed me to feel confident in my role before starting. Everyone I have worked with has been so lovely and welcomed me in, it really feels like family! So happy I applied🙌🏻
I cannot recommend this home enough, my mum Spent her last few months in their care, the staff and facilities are excellent, just like one lonely extended family x
