Collis Roofing originally roofed this house in Winter Springs. I came home from work yesterday to find a leak dripping down thru the AC vent in the kitchen. Today I called Collis Roofing and asked for a service call to repair the leak. I was told that it would be scheduled 3-4 weeks out or use the emergency service which she stated was very expensive. My husband and I have been dealing with Collis for nearly a year to fix a leak in our roof. It is impossible for them to return calls or maintain appointments, let alone stand behind their work as the issue has yet to be resolved, yet they have no problem taking our money. Both Wally and Wendy have failed to respond to numerous phone calls from my husband. I see you're far more responsive via Facebook, so we would appreciate your prompt follow up and for the work to actually be completed.
I signed a contract with Collis back in May for reroofing my house in Apopka. The salesman Joey McVay seems very knowledgeable and good representative of a reliable company. It turns out to totally opposite, a total disaster from the beginning. All the company promises from the protection of the ground vegetation to the on site supervisor are fake. Took over a week to get someone out to look at our roof. Estimator didn't show up when scheduled. Finally showed up several days later and assured us we would have the written estimate by that afternoon. Did not receive it. Called company to ask. Left another message. Did not get a response. Called again. Still have not received it yet (4 days later). Not sure if we ever will. Was a waste of our time to have them come out. Obviously they are not concerned about customer satisfaction.
I used Collis to replace my roof. The actually roof replacement work is fine. The issue I have is with the estimator. He came out gave an estimate. He stated that this number on the contract was for roof replacement and does not include any wood replacement. I asked what the estimate for wood replacement would cost, He stated about $2,000 or a little more. I said fine, signed the contract.
