The new lady is wack! Bring the tie guy back!
Business response:
We would have liked to know what you didn't like about Dr. Phelps. We use the feedback from our patients to help us in making changes that help us improve. We hope that if you have a future complaint, that you will let us know, so we can try and remedy.
The reason I gave a three stars is in reference to the woman who did sealants on my son's teeth yesterday. She was very impatient with him at first when he did an xray he had never done before. He move just an inch after trying to get my attention to tell me he was uncomfortable. He has problems using his tongue sometimes I think that may have been part of it. Her talking to him the way she did I could tell made him nervous. Then she was rude to me when I was telling her our appointment was for sealant which was made ahead o... read more
I felt like my son's first appointment was very rushed and that my concerns with one of his teeth were brushed off as me just being a paranoid mom! My daughter is also seen here and her appointments have gone more smoothly. I don't know if it was just that particular hygenist, but I hope to not have her for future appointments.
First off the staff at the Caring for kids is awesome. But Dr. Wexel is not he is a terrible dentist. I took my son there about 8 yrs ago he was 6. Cleanings were fine, however when they needed to fill a tooth. I was told I couldn't be in the room I refused. So they let me stay they strapped him down to the table/chair & said pain meds were not needed. Dr. Wexel doesn't believe in numbing children. Needless to say I took my son & left before they started the filling. He was tramatized by this dentist & terrified of all other... read more
Business response:
Dr. Wexel is not the children's dentist at this practice, he is an orthodontist, who only does braces. You are probably talking about Dr. Allen. Dr. Allen always allows parents in the operatory when doing work on children, and he will never do work on a child without anesthetic. The only reason that a papoose is needed on a child is if he might endanger himself while Dr. Allen is using the drill, which can be very dangerous.
Dr Allen have no clue how to treat parents. My son is 28 months old and I wanted to make sure he could see me after Dr. Allen strap my son tight in a body suit. This was the second time that my son was in a body suit. Dr. Allen and his staff was very rough with my son. My son was looking at me scared. He didn't cry. I was rubbing his leg and told him it is okay.
had chipped front tooth fixed
Wasn't the best experience, the hygenist was perfect with my child but the doctor was rude, disrespectful, and so rough with my child that i had to stop the examination. I refuse to go back, and i will never refer anyone to them.
We're new to the area and had a bad experience with the first dentist we tried. We were much happier with Dr. Allen's care. The only issue I have is that the cleaning didn't take long and wasn't as thorough as we were used to before moving here.
I had the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor or dentist. The front desk staff was very nice but the doctor was not friendly at all and I will never recommend this place to anyone and will never be back.
