It is amazing to me that there are so many great reviews of this place and my experience was nothing close to great. I took my 2 year to this dentist for his first check up and my son was not having it, he screamed and cried and would not let the nurse touch him. So I was surprised to recieve a bill for a flouride treatment. I called them about this and they said "oh yes she applied it with her finger". First of all I don't understand why I was not informed about what she was doing so that at least I knew what was going on s... read more

Sending Dr. Allen and his staff a warm hello from Puerto Rico!

The hygenist was very nice and personable. She did a great job for a first dental visit!! Dr. Allen, however, I felt was not very professional or courteous! He came off as arrogant and uncaring. There are far too many dentists to deal with this man again. Also, their methods for filling cavities in children is barbaric and traumatizing.

My son's teeth have always been a source of frustration due to genetics and low fluoride levels in our water. The dentists offices we visited before left us both disgusted and frustrated with visiting a dentist. My son hated going to the dentist and would cry all the way there and resist going back to the dentist chair. The previous dentist offered no care and compassion for his patients or their parents we left the visit feeling as if we had just been tortured.

My daughter had a good outcome with her cavities filled. It's nice to know after her appointment she would not be scared to go again. That's saying a lot for a 10 year old who hates shots !!!!

The only problem we have with this office is that every time Ryan has an appointment with Dr. Wexel we are always in the waiting forever. Even if we are the first patients at 8am we are waiting. This then interferes with getting him to school. His last visit he sat with his dad for over an hour in the waiting room. There was no phone call to us to tell us Dr. Wexel was running this late. My husband had to ask what the hold up was. So the wait time for Dr. Wexel ridiculous and this is every time we go.

Business response:

We hear you loud and clear! Thanks for saying you would still come back or refer to our practice and having enough concern for the practice to let us know that there was a problem. My staff loves the new changes we have made to keep ahead of schedule...sorry, but sometimes it takes a wake-up call to teach this old dog new tricks. Thanks again, Dr. Walt
