I would give the facility 5 stars. The staff is wonderful and very attentive to my mother. As she has adjusted to the situation, she has become involved with activities, which is really good for her. She has said the food is good and I have seen the menu, it looks good. The facility has looked clean every time I visit. My mother's room has been clean as well. I think that her room is a good size for her. She has a small studio size room and it is for a single person . I'm sorry but I don't know the actual dimensions. Please ... read more

The people there are caring and my mom has enjoyed the food options. We picked them because of the location and availability.

Overall it was good. Cleanliness of the facility - always tidy in the common areas. Both parents rooms were often not very clean but that was more related to their illnesses and frequent GI issues than anything. As soon as staff got them cleaned up, parents promptly uncleaned. Friendliness - Everyone from director to maintenance was always friendly and helpful Quality of care - good. What we like the most about Commonwealth Senior Living is that the staff are always helpful if you need anything and always cleaning. Yes, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on our experience.

Based on our experience we think Commonwealth Senior Living could always improve on the communication. However, we would recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

Do your due diligence, visit the places, talk to both residents and staff to get a better understanding of how happy they are living and working there. In our experience at Commonwealth, the staff was very caring and really good to my dad. They were short staffed, but did their best. They did the best with the food they had to work with. The nursing staff would keep me in the loop. I never was able to get in contact with [name removed]. The hospice folks were helpful.

The community could always be a little cleaner but overall it has been a good experience. The staff members are very friendly and from what we hear the meals are really good .

They are having a hard keeping employees. I think with COVID a lot of people are avoiding health care in favor of something else. They did fairly well with activities but not so well with cleaning. My loved ones room was not always as clean as I would have preferred it to be. Food was not great when I compare it to the facility my other loved one was in for rehab just recently. The guy who gave me the tour was very informational and did a really great job at answering questions and showing me all around the facility. This Commonwealth location had 2 levels to it. The only room they had available was on the top floor and my loved one had just had hip surgery so we were looking for a place that would all be on one level.
