Dr. Engel is extremely knowledgeable and explained my MRI report while reviewing the actual MRI. He explained things in an easily understandable fashion and answered all my questions allowing me time to absorb the information that was given. As surgery was indicated, Dr. Engel explained the procedure including a video and discussed post-op course including physical limitations and treatment plan.
I first saw Dr. Nute in mid-November 2023 for a severely sprained ankle. I previously injured the same ankle multiple times over the previous 47 years. After reviewing an MRI, Dr. Nute recommended surgically repairing my ankle. He was very clear about what I should expect in terms of recovery. He completed the repair early in December. I am 13 weeks post-op and completed 16 physical therapy sessions as directed and am 85-90% normal, which is in line with the expectations set prior to the surgery. Dr Slimack and his team are outstanding! I highly recommend them for a hip surgery should you ever find yourself needing one! Their compassion and quality of care and procedure done exceeded my expectations! Not 1 question went unanswered! I was totally prepared before and after surgery with instructions to take home! Dr. Engel has been my doctor for many years now and has performed quite a few surgeries on my feet. You could never ask for a better doctor than him. Dr. Engel really cares about his patients and their healing process. Loren and his staff are excellent at what they do to provide excellent care also to the patients.
