My friend took her 17 yr old dog with an open gash on her neck in for emergency care to get stitches. This dog is a senior who is also blind and deaf. Conejo Vet expected her to wait with her injured dog (who was in PAIN!) out in the parking lot for 4 hours!!!! Thankfully she hard passed and went to an actual emergency vet who was able to treat her dog instantly. Said friend has 3 dogs and will now be taking her business to this vet that actually came thru for her. No one likes to watch their animals suffer, but for them to ... read more

i brought my maltipoos for a glacoma test and the other for shots. when i met the vet she was tired and recited facts about everything but glacoma, like a eyerolled filled ted talk. She would leave the room and yell "done! she wants to cash out!" when i asked about the test and shots Dr. Cole said she couldnt do the test bc the machine had been broken for a few days and were waiting for it to be repaired. She also said no to the shots bc my other dog needed a wellness check up. She repeatedly mixed up my dogs charts, even wi... read more

Business response:

Hello Dora, we are sorry that your recent visit was not a positive one. This is not how our doctors normally are, and we would love for you to come back in and try a different doctor. We do want to thank you for your feedback, so we can coach our staff so this does not happen to you or anyone else in the future. Again, we are very sorry and we hope you can give us another chance with your pups.

Unfortunately our pet died last night of congestive heart failure. This sad experience could have been so much better. It began last Wednesday when we brought her in. She was coughing and we went home with antibiotics. In the next two days she became lethargic. I was unable to get the vet to call back over Friday and Saturday. We were told just bring her in. I was unsure if she was very sick. Her symptoms were very hard to read. The staff was snippy when I kept leaving messages. A simple return call could have made ... read more

I have been going since 🤔 1999/2000. Dr. Hughes 🤓 was so awesome to me and my daughter, the loss of her first cat then seeing all our others.. hey girls, he would say lol The rebuild, move, we saw several other Dr’s as they grew and moved. Today, was different. We know our animals, and we requested a specific treatment that had been used previously by his (Spongey’s) first veterinarian. Last year we saw Dr Kane and he said, if what he tried didn’t work, he would provide a steroid for him. He responds SO well to them.. ... read more

There’s a kitty that’s been burnt in oak park. Abc 7 reporter saw firefighters taking him out of a burning house. He needs emergency assistance. Can anyone go and help this poor kitty??? #abc7news

My dogs groomer from this hospital left but I continued going with her because grooming at the hospital has age discrimination towards their older staff . Last week I brought in my dog for fleas and they said my dog didn't have any. They have been refusing to give my dog the ok on flea medicine so now we order our medicine online. Whats the point in having a 24/7 hospital if the doctors can't even tell if your dog has fleas. My dog has been suffering for too long and we are moving him to another vet.

Had some really great doctors in the past, very patient and service oriented! Now interested in money and good medical personnel abandoning ship.
