This whole process felt like I was buying a car from a dealership. During my initial consult, the attorneys representing the firm we're men advocating for Father's rights. They answered my questions well and were very courteous. Once I agreed to retain them, I was immediately switched to a completely different team comprised of women, including my TRO attorney Christine Dolan. I don't know where i should start, me and my wife hired Stephen to represent me and help me to get her 2 years old son primary custody. But before we even started that process, we had to go thru Emergency temporary custody because father ended up in Prison for 6 months and refused to let us see her son. Beware! Paid them deposit and the first few hours. It was about £7'500 in total. Than the wife's lawyer soon got the upperhand, and they decided to stop proceedings. Money wasted... Cannot trust them. Good advertisements... but not good at defending men... Especially in London, I think they only have 2 lawyers... Cheaters.
Lawyer was average. The firm doesn't tell you that they will charge you $150/hr for all the work the LA does which runs the bill into thousands. They also have to consult with the Leading Attorney and charge you the higher rate for their time. They conveniently run out of money right before the court hearing. I had to let them go after using up $30K in 3 months and had to hire someone else without finishing.
Hired Cordell due to their "family attorneys for men" radio ads. BB had not complaints at the time. In the end, I spent thousands of dollars in what I now know was a legally hopeless case. They were very good and sounding like I had a chance. I would avoid this firm.
Cordell and Cordell is a marketing firm pretending to be lawyers who care about defending men. I retained them in 2018 and my lawyer that was assigned to my case was Sarah Rizzolo out of Boulder and she was horrible from the get go. She dismissed my concerns and argued the position of the other lawyer and would not take the time to consider my position. We retained this firm and I should have checked out the reviews. My mistake!!! They were true to form.... horrible. It was not a complicated case however the female attorney did not do her job. She had a pleasant enough manner but did not know her job. Do not be fooled with the 'its all about the father crap.' This attorney's opposition was IVD, a social worker, with no legal training. My lawyer rarely showed up in court, and when she did was unprepared. I had another attorney review my case and they said I was taken advantage of. Horrible service. Never use this firm.
I needed a good attorney to help with a nasty divorce.
