Dr Patel didn’t even pretend to care about what I had to say. I had medical history that was related to the situation I came in for, and had questions. She was very short with me and clearly just wanted to rush me out of there.
Smooth check in. Person who took my vitals didn't identify her name nor position. That would have been nice I do have an issue of having to pay before even being seen. This was true today and when I had my mammogram last month at Corewell Royal Oak. Makes me feel that I'm just a number/money source.
Everyone was great, except there was no one at the reception desk and when she returned, she seemed annoyed and short with the patients.
I checked in and told them my symptoms, waited over an hour just to be told they couldn’t help me because they don’t do ultrasounds, bloodwork, or urine samples. And I would probably be sent to the er for something as minute as a “possible uti or kidney infection”
Prescribed me a medication that was never discussed or communicated with me to a pharmacy 3 hours away from me.
I can’t remember the name of my provider, but I went to my primary care two days after my visit, my primary care told me my diagnosis and provided me the correct medication. The provider I had at urgent care was only concerned rather I had Covid or not when I told him my main concern was pneumonia because I’ve had it in the past. He said he was just concerned about Covid and that I had an ear infection he didn’t even check to make sure I didn’t have pneumonia or any other sickness.
