In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. Best breakfast and what makes it better is the customer service they all work as a team . Thats why i eat there every Saturday.

Our Black Bear in Tucson on Broadway Blvd is ALWAYS a great experience, great attentive service, great food, plentiful amounts & all & all a place we look forward to going to a couple times a month. We recently met a young man ther by the name of Nathaniel Williams & were so so impressed with his genuine interest in our satisfaction. Nathaniel is a model of what Black Bear should strive for in all its employees ( wait staff as well as managers, they can all take a lesson or two from Nathaniel.)
