Love the food and generous portions. Employees are friendly and helpful. Except for one waitress. On a recent visit to the restaurant in Emeryville. She never even acknowledged our presence, let alone asked if she could help us. She didn't serve us, but a "manager" took our order after we told him we had been seated for some time and no one had even offered us something to drink.. First one I ever went to. It was love at first bite!
I have been to many of the Black Bear Diners in my travels. They are so consistent in delivering good value family style food with service that reminds me of home. Keep it up BBDs!!
