In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. It was very good but they crank the ac up which sucks and their bathrooms are tiny

I have only been to the Redding Black Bear Twice I LOVE IT!! Great food!!!
Love the restaurant, the waitress we had was very sweet and kind. Her name was Bri she help us out by getting our food together to go because our daughter was cranky and wanted to go home. Gave her a good tip wish we could have given her more. But if we go there again hoping we have her as our waitress again. :) And the food was delicious :D
