In 1995 founders Bruce Dean and Bob & Laurie Manley opened the first Black Bear Diner in Mt. Shasta, CA. we just had lunch at the Gilbert Black Bear dinner. are server Exxianne was very attentive and pleasant. the Taco salad was enough for two and very good.

Great food and great recommendation from our server Ms.Debbie! I got the bear choices: 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties, and Cinnamon Roll French Toast! I recommend the cinnamon roll French toast if you are a French toast lover! I've had many thing off the menu over the time and enjoy all the food I have had from the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito, B.L.T.
