This was my main vet before the sale to the current vets. I brought my dog here after the changeover quite a few years ago and was very turned off by the high price jump and especially by the habit of loading on many questionable charges and tests. We have waited about an hour every time. Even with appointments. It is a bit strange that they take your animal away to examine it. My dog screams when they take his temp there but not at vets where he is with us. I am sure they have their reasons. The very is very nice. I just don't believe we should wait 55 minutes and still not be seen simply for a rabies shot.

Do not take your pet here. My dog has a hernia that she has had since a pup. Every previous vet has told me there is no need to operate unless it has grown in size or she has been vomiting a lot. Neither of these have occurred. I explained this to the veterinarian here but she continued to push me on getting it surgically removed. I told her I did not think I should put my dog through unnecessary surgery. He response was, "even though it is not doing harm you could keep it there, but why? Crazy expensive, went in to see about a tooth extraction, gave me two estimates, one for the "recommended" stuff needed right then $400, and a second for the actual extraction $1000!!!!! Extractions for a human don't cost that much. I figured out what they were about, paid the overpriced office visit ($48) and flea application ($9) and got out of there with my wallet intact.
