HIGHWAY ROBBERY! my 15 lb furbaby was put down a week ago. They called yesterday to say her ashes had arrived. Shocked when they told me the total was $384!!!! I've checked with several prominent vets in the area, this could have been done for half the price!! Most of them waive the office visit!! Price gouging at the worst time of a pet owner's life! Word of mouth advertising is the best 😢💔

It is still a touchy subject for me to speak about what happened. But After what happened and my dog dying under their care. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Found a dog at our camp that had been in the woods for about 2 weeks. Frail and weak. Hadn’t had any food in days. He badly needed some fluids and to get a parasite check up. Called this place and told her it was a medical emergency. The ladies response was you need to take her somewhere if it’s life threatening. Really? That is why I’m calling...??? She quickly said we don’t have room right now, you would need to make an appointment in advance. Terrible vet, take your animal to actual caring people

The information relayed to us included that a dog had been found and you would like to have the dog checked out. We were not aware of a medical emergency affecting the dog. Although we feel it is unfair for you to judge us as "terrible vet" and imply we do not care (our involvement in rescue is known in this community), we hope that this dog is doing well and is on his way to a full recovery in a loving home.

There is no more caring clinic in Hot Springs. They not only care for the physical health of my pet, but pay attention to her stress and anxiety.

Our rescue Blue loves going to Countryside 🐾🐾We drive from PB to HS to be seen 🐾🐾they helped Blue after 3 other vets tried but just ended up doped him up on medicine and not healing him🐾🐾I recommend them 100% they care about the animals 🐾🐾

My MIL needed emergency surgery for her elderly dog. We are in Arkadelphia and do not have an emergency vet on call this weekend. Countryside says they will not provide emergency service for anyone that is not a regular customer even with cash up front. Her dog almost died before we found a vet to perform emergency surgery. Uncaring vet clinic 😡

If your local veterinarian does not provide emergency service, please know in the future you can call Arkansas Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Clinic in Little Rock. They offer 24 hour veterinary care. Our practice offers emergency care over the weekend for our current clients as an added service to them. Will NOT ever take our animals to Countryside again!! We have only used this clinic for 16 years! Yes 16 years!!!! And they could not be bothered at 5 today to see our sick puppy. Seriously???? Asked about after hours and was told they don’t do that. But imagine my surprise when calling their number after 5 and the recording says they do offer after hours services! Staff could care less. We do offer after hours service for our clients. However, last week, one of our doctors was out with the flu for several days. This affected our after hours service, but we were able to have an assistant answer questions after hours for those needing help. On reviewing this situation, it was offered to see your pet prior to close of business at 5:30, but you were unable to come in that time frame. Your pet had been sick for a couple of days and it was unfortunate that arrangements could not have been made earlier in the day.... read more

I can’t thank Dr. Rhodes enough for saving my puppy Dolly. It was after hours and i had called the emergency number twice without a return call. I’m thirty minutes from the vets office so after i made the first call i headed into Hot Springs. As I’m waiting in the parking lot of Countryside, and by this time it had been over an hour, Dr. Rhodes walked out of the office door. She offered to treat Dolly even though it was around 7 pm and she was not the Dr on call. She saved my sweet baby girl!! I can’t thank her enough.
