Cross country road trip Cracker Barrel is always good for quick, filling home style food; nothing fancy but is tasty!! And it was across the lane from my hotel - even better.
Mediocre food Good breakfasts, but can't really say dinners are very good. I had the chicken and dumplings, and I've never seen dumplings like these. There should be good chicken broth with the chicken pieces, and you drop the dumplings into it. Dumplings should be almost like biscuits. This was like the paste we used to glue things when we were kids....
Great breakfast I had breakfast here while attending a business conference! I was very happy to find a CB in Flagstaff! I had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and biscuits. Everything was delicious and the service was good. I will have breakfast here again on my next visit!
Go for the Shopping, Stay for the Breakfast I always loved to go to Cracker Barrel because their gift shop is so fantastic, but never had a memorable meal in one, until I discovered the Sunshine Sampler for breakfast. For $7.99 you get eggs cooked your way, 2 biscuits & gravy, grits, bacon, ham, and really great cheesy potatoes. Small portions, but all anyone needs. Good coffee too.
Other Cracker Barrels are better It was okay. We usually pick Cracker Barrel while on the road so we decided to stop here. Service was slow and food portions seemed less than usual. Our server was attentive but extremely quiet and awkward. Okay experience.
In Arizona We were surprised to find a Cracker Barrel west of the Mississippi so we decided to stop for a late lunch while traveling through Flagstaff. The food is the same, although we noticed that we could have ordered a side of green chili peppers if we had wanted. It's breakfast all day and down-home cooking and don't forget to shop!...
Dependable Cracker Barrel Fare When traveling we look for Cracker Barrels and pleased to find one this far west. We had dinner on a Friday night and was served fast (as usual) and enjoyed our time there. Next morning, we also came back for breakfast which can be ordered all day, and was pleased with the food and service once again. Thanks Cracker Barrel...
We'll return Dinner for three came to $31, so the price is right. Highly recommend their fried chicken breast dinner or roast beef dinner. The chicken fried steak and roast beef meat portions are not huge, but the 3 sides and biscuits n corn bread will fill. Typical Cracker Barrel ambiance and young wait staff worked hard on a busy Saturday night....
Busy weekend, service was not as good This is a "must go to" when we visit our son at NAU. This time the portions seemed smaller than usual, but it was a busy weekend in Flagstaff. We have come to expect more from Cracker Barrel, It won't keep us from coming back.
