This is one of my favorite Cracker Barrel restaurants, not sure why. Likely because each experience has been pleasant, I've never encountered a wait and service is pretty quick. Hands down I'm a total pancake fan, plain or blueberry. Be sure to get the blueberry syrup!!! Anywho the all day breakfast is a fan favorite!
Can't believe how disappointing it is to eat here anymore! So sad because years ago it was one of our favorite choices. The hashbrown casserole quality is NOTHING like it used to be. Last night I was served burnt bottom of the barrel hashbrown casserole. The waitress never refilled our drinks. From the time we ordered until our food was received was 22 minutes. Our waiter was the best! He was a young man, named Ethan. He was so personable and inviting. He stayed on top of things and made our experience enjoyable. (So much so that I spoke to the manager to let him know Ethan did an excellent job) Our food took a while to arrive, but was tasty.
I would have given 5 stars, but it was very disappointing to learn at checkout the baked potatoes are extra. It's also disappointing customers now must pay extra for apple butter and condiments. The more extra we must pay for increasing food prices, the less tips we are able to leave for the waiters and waitresses, which is unfair to them.
Very disappointed in my meal tonight. I ordered the meatloaf family meal with broccoli cheese casserole and green beans. Green beans and baked sweet potatos were good. The broccoli casserole was horrible and did not have any rice at all and was extremely dry and just not good. The meatloaf looked as though it was just thrown in the container some slices were broken and looked like an afterthought. And the peach cobbler was HORRIBLE. The crust wasn't even cooked. Very, very dissatisfied with this $100.00 meal.
