Still my favorite place to get pancakes and a breakfast that won’t break the bank but I started noticing quality of food going down hill. Peach cobbler tasted like a can of peaches with this extremely hard crust. No flavor whatsoever. The mamma’s breakfast was supposed to come with two scrambled eggs but what was sent looked like scrapings off another plate. My 9 year old Granddaughter loves Cracker Barrel, and she always orders chicken and dumplings, fried apples, and fries. I tried a new dish that had grilled shrimp in it, and it was absolutely delicious! Every item I have ever chosen has been delicious.....never disappointed. Our waitress did not ask if we wanted drink refills, and she did not ask if we needed anything and if our meals were fine. I had to flag her down twice myself. This is one of my favorite Cracker Barrel restaurants, not sure why. Likely because each experience has been pleasant, I've never encountered a wait and service is pretty quick. Hands down I'm a total pancake fan, plain or blueberry. Be sure to get the blueberry syrup!!! Anywho the all day breakfast is a fan favorite!
3/39/25 Never Again! Today I ordered a medium cooked New York Strip steak via Door Dash. I paid $23 and change for the meal and about $23 for expedited delivery tax fees and $9 tip. Can't believe how disappointing it is to eat here anymore! So sad because years ago it was one of our favorite choices. The hashbrown casserole quality is NOTHING like it used to be. Last night I was served burnt bottom of the barrel hashbrown casserole. The waitress never refilled our drinks. From the time we ordered until our food was received was 22 minutes.
