Very Good BK We had just packed up from camping for 6 days and we were looking for a GREAT Breakfast. This place fit the bill. The Coffee was hot. The OJ cold. The food great and a lot of it. Basic but good Decent, standard food. Service was very friendly and pleasant. The location was great- just off the highway near hotels and gas stations. The floors were really dirty though.
Quick and filling This is a popular stopping spot so depending on when you stop in, you may have a wait. As a pescatarian there are only two things to eat on the menu (fish). Sides like corn and biscuits help.
Comfort food in a friendly family atmosphere My wife and I often visit this chain of restaurants when we travel. We also frequent the one nearest to our home. We especially like our local representative of the chain. People are friendly and helpful. Be sure and request that you get the double packet coffee otherwise you get the sissy coffee this chain offers.
Passing through Passing through and needed a break from the car. Cracker Barrel is a staple of wholesale food and atmosphere. We were waited on by Jeremy. Great customer skills and attentive without being obsessed. Food, store, overall was normal good CB. Even picked up a couple sock monkey type horses.
Never disappointed in breakfast at Cracker Barrel Delicious breakfast and service at the Troutville VA location. My husband and I always eat at Cracker Barrel when traveling food is good and I love going through the store. Highly recommend!!!!
Friendly Staff, Smaller Portions at Same Price The wait staff are incredibly nice at this Cracker Barrel. They worked to please myself and family on a recent trip. The store and restaurant are consistent with the overall theme. Unfortunately, the portion sizes are getting smaller while the prices stay the same or even go up some. The food is still tasty but there's less of it.
