The eggs were raw in the middle, the ham was so tough I could bite into it, the sausage was burnt. The pancakes were okay but were also on the burnt side overall really disappointed.
Meat wasn't tender, chewy, usually much better
Cold. Order said 3 biscuits, there were 2. The cobbler, I was excited about for $23.. I assumed I'd get the whole pie.. nope! got all these individuals that was basically a graham cracker and peaches straight from the can. ughh.. not what I expected.. I know next time, if I want a whole pie, it "may" still be store bought but I'll order from Cloverleaf..
This restaurant is usually good. maybe just a bad day. The chicken was very dry and tough like it had been sitting too long under the heat lamp. The green beans and corn were good. Delivery was fast. Door Dash is on top of their game.
Mashed potatoes were dry and looked and tasted old, broccoli was barely cooked, and biscuits were burnt. Had to throw out most of the order. The Homestyle Chicken was good, as usual, and the corn was decent, just a little bland.
The fish was good, but the portion size was a bit small, especially since one of the foir pieces was just crunchy bayter with no fish in it. It epuld Jake been better if the greens had been in a separate container as the juice ran in the container and made the fish soggy.
Food overcooked and poor taste ham was like jerky pancakes were rubbery and very dark colored as well as fla. scrambled eggs were square block. The ice tea half gallon was not cold and did not include any cups of ice to pour it over to obtain ice tea as advertised on the menu. I usually dine at this store and they have decent but my last two times ithas been bad. This is why I decided to leave a review after two times in a row of failing to get a good order. Everything was good except for the Country Fried Turkey. The turkey was tough and not flavorful. Very disappointed as Cracker Barrel's food is always good.
Never order from Cracker Barrel an hour before they close. My meat loaf was dry. I didn't even get my mashed potatoes.
