Ordered kids pancakes and they didn't include syrup. This happens OFTEN. I ordered grape jelly and there was no jelly. I ordered the steak medium rare and every bit of it was more medium well.
Every time I order from here, something is wrong. This time, did not receive my drink or any of my sauces. I ordered Country Fried Pickles and didn't receive any ranch. And the Chicken n' Dumplins I ordered had onion chips which I didn't receive my sauce for and biscuits which I didn't receive butter with. I just moved apartments and so I don't have the stuff to make this right myself.
I ordered Chicken Noodle Soup Bowl and it had one noodle. Then I ordered a salad and received an egg and the salmon that when on the Smoky Southern Salmon Salad but nothing else. The bag even said it was checked but it wasn't sealed so not eating anything! Do better!!
Hash brown casserole was not cooked all the way, very crunchy. Chicken a little too burnt. Just disappointing overall .
The hashbrowns were undercooked. And do pancakes not automatically come with syrup any longer? That's twice very recently that no syrup was included.
Let me say usually I like Cracker Barrel food but lately they have been somewhat inconsistent with flavor and texture. The mashed potatoes as an example are sometimes so thick you can stick a fork in the center and lift the entire portion out of the tray. I think they should offer both a thinner and a thicker version because some people like them thicker and some thinner. Food was not good at all. Mashed potatoes could have been used as glue. They were thick and like like paste, very dry. No gravy on either order. The corn was chewy and had a weird flavor. The fried chicken was way over cooked, almost burnt and looked like it had been sitting out. We order quite frequently from here and the quality of food has always been very good. Something was way off tonight.
all my bacon was burnt an my ssausage. my grits taste like water and grains horrible I ordered from here before and it was never this bad
