The Hamburger Steak** was good. The **THURSDAY ONLY** Thursday Turkey n' Dressing was not so good. There was very little gravy on mashed potatoes and there wasn't any stuffing with turkey. Barely any gravy with turkey either. this meal was very disappointing.
Eggs were cold and the sausages over cooked/dry.
Biscuits and pancakes had a weird taste. Cake was obviously leftover from the day before, super dry and crumbly. Not a meal worth 50 bucks.
The Fresh Berry French Toast Bake is an extremely small portion and looks nothing like the photo online. No whipped cream. Sad.
I ordered the meatloaf and the grilled chicken meals. The meatloaf was 1, half an inch thick slice, swimming in grease, mushy, and UNDERcooked. The grilled chicken was completely burnt, OVERcooked, and rubbery. The sides of mashed potatoes with gravy were completely flavorless. My work will never order from this restaurant again. Overpriced, underwhelming, and not worth your time.
Careful maybe dont order! Just gave me French toast. No fruit at all! $14 slice of French toast if you can call it that
really big steaks, and you get 2 per order, but we ordered 2 meals, so 4 steaks, and each with a side of mashed potatoes each, and we got one dish of gravy, that wasn't even filled up fully.
We paid over $55 dollars for our food and these two pictures alone cost 28$ This is the size of a kids meal. Ridiculous and compete waste of money. Cold food and waste of everything. Will never eat here again.
Don't get me wrong. I love Cracker Barrel - or at least I did when I lived in Tennessee. I have been to our new CB in Reno twice since they opened and have been thoroughly disappointed. The first time I went I ordered my favorite chicken & dumplings. The manager came out & told me they were out of the chicken for the C&D so I ordered something else, all the time wondering why he did not have the cook cut up a couple of chicken tenderloins.
