Super delish, EXCEPT I didn't get my biscuits or cornbread - which everyone knows is the BEST part of Cracker Barrel, so despite good fried chicken, the dinner was hugely disappointing.
Pancakes were not what I expected, very grainy. I did however like the chicken Crispy Tender Dippers, though I found the white gravy very mid, compared to other gravies I've had. Don't think I'd order again.
Chicken Fried Chicken was truly great but it did not lay flat which I prefer. there was a little too much breading on it a good portion was just breading, unwanted Mashed Potatoes with Sawmill Gravy to me personally a person has to really screw up in order to make mashed potatoes and gravy bad. I think the only thing I could say it needs some fresh cracked black pepper in the gravy and potatoes. I will definitely order this again hopefully it would be better then what I had.
as always Momma's Pancake Breakfast® was truly good and well worth the money portions are great Spicy Chicken Sausage the one thing I truly was looking forward to devour for some reason did not make on my order. so I cannot make a true judgment on this time.
Momma's Pancake Breakfast® and Hashbrown Casserole were extremely good. I got a good portion of each. the problem comes with the Spicy Chicken Sausage, it was pretty bad that even at the early time that I ordered they had already run out did not have the spicy chicken sausage. So very disappointed I was really looking forward to getting the spicyness. Mashed Potatoes with Sawmill Gravy tasted very good I always enjoy their mashed potatoes. I find it disheartening to see that they are starting to really skimp on the amount of food they give you. theCountry Fried Steak what's perfect and I enjoyed the flavor with all the sides that I ordered.
The portions were a lot smaller than they are when you dine-in.....I suggest going to the restaurant instead..
I really loved the fish from the Friday fish fry it had great taste. and I got the steak fries with it they were seasoned very well the tartar sauce tasted wonderful. I just wish that the fish pieces were larger and I had gotten more fries than what they gave me. I'm just one that likes a little more for the money that I am paying.
the food itself was good but the service was a little upsetting, I went to pick up my order and the woman was so rude because they were busy, but like so are a lot of people without being rude, was disappointing
